Global Investment Bank is seeking a Business Analyst for a 6-month assignment in New York. Pay up to $50 hourly. Job Description: The ideal candidate will work in a three-member team within Hedge Fund Credit Risk Management group. The role is to identify Hedge Fund Credit Officer's needs and steer necessary Infrastructure changes by working together with partners from various departments within the bank. The candidate will prepare regular reporting for the Hedge Fund portfolio. Perform analysis and make proposals for process improvements. Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent business experience; Strong communication skill is a must because this role has to work with people from all divisions Risk Controlling, BAC, IT, Credit Operations and from other areas such London, India, etc. Have to be comfortable with handling large amount of data.
Previous Project Management experience is helpful. Candidate must be proficient with Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. Understanding of Counterparty Risk and Financial Products e.g. Repo, Interest Rate Derivatives, Equity, etc. is a plus.
